wishweaver and the daughter-unit were off today, although Wish did yeoman's work rescuing my car from it's icy embrace while I was off twiddling my thumbs at work. Well, it took another few hours but the Yaris is finally clear of all snow, the end of the driveway is cleared and my Miata is ALMOST clear. Still have to get the snow off of the passenger's side, but at least the multiple feet of snow on top of my convertible. No sense in stressing the rag top more than it already was ( Read more... )

Went ahead and started shoveling while the snow was still coming down. Decided it would be easier to remove some now and some later than all later. It took a bit just to get the mound of snow in front of our door out of the way so that wishweaver and I could get out there and work at the same time.
